About Rebekah

I live on a petite farm in Pennsylvania. I love gardening, painting, hiking, and hanging out with my husband and our six children.

More about Rebekah!

As an undergraduate at Lebanon Valley College, I was fascinated by the interplay of mind, body and behavior. I concentrated my studies in Neuro and Developmental Psychology. Following graduation, I had my first child and quickly realized that academic life didn’t prepare me for the reality of raising a family.

When my son developed asthma at the age of two (following four “routine” vaccinations,) I began questioning our medical paradigm and its far reaching grasp on mainstream lifestyles. My son had severe behavior reactions to the pharmaceutical drugs prescribed and although I’m grateful for the emergency intervention, his doctors weren’t helpful in offering preventative suggestions.

I sought answers and talked with everyone who listened. A friend suggested connecting with Dr. Francis Patrick Tierney; a Chiropractor, Homeopath, and Naturopath in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Tierney became my first mentor. I attribute so much of who I am today to his care, which he offered to everyone around him, often without financial compensation.

Through allergy reduction and holistic health practices, we successfully managed to wean my son off his pharma drugs. This inspired me to pursue further education through Trinity, and herbal training as a medical herbalist through the North American Institute for Natural Health.

I recently completed additional training with Restorative Wellness Solutions and continue mentorship with Dr. Turnpaugh, from Turnpaugh Health and Wellness, as well as Charis Lindrooth, founder of BotanicWise and the Mid-Atlantic Women’s Herbal Conference.
